I swear to god, I do intend to still write fic. I've had the summer from hell this year, and literally haven't produced any kind of writing or art this summer. The good news is that at the end of this week I should be over most, if not all, of the drama. So I WILL BE RETURNING, and will resume my various projects ASAP.

Alright, now that LJ's whole deletion mess has been cleaned up I've gone through and unlocked most of my posts. The only posts that will remain friends-locked are my fanfic that have adult ratings on them. This means that if you want to read "We Begin at the End" and "Deepening the Bond" on my LJ you have to ask to be added to my friends list. All of my other posts, including my recs list and my fic "Little Bits of Light," are back up for public viewing.

I do intend to keep the GreatestJournal account, but I will probably use it as a backup of this account. So my recs list and all of my fics will continue to be available on there, as will future changes to the recs list and future postings of fics. Also, fics with an adult rating will be friends-locked on the GJ account as well.

I did not want to do this, but until some of the internet rumors get sorted out I figure I'm better safe than sorry. If you would like to be added please just comment. It's actually had quite a few additions in the last two months. If I remember correctly, I've added stuff to my Bleach, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Naruto, One Piece, and Original/Crossover/Misc sections in the last few weeks. I've also provided a link to my memories, since there are fics on there that haven't made it to the recs list yet (that or they're drabbles, which I don't put on the formal recs list).

It's become obvious I'm going to have to make a separate post for the Harry Potter fic recs..

I will come out with a few new fics this summer, I promise! I'm going to finish all those edits to the older fics too. I'm not taking class this summer, just working, so my brain will be less exhausted.

I was skimming over my most recent fic and came across this line:

Vampire instincts took over and soon Sirius was immersed in the feeling of hot warm blood sliding down his throat. His whole body felt warm and comfortable and good, so good.

Hot warm blood? And then I have the word "warm" again in the next sentence. How did I miss this? Dun dun dun.

Anyhow, I've gone in and changed it to this:

Vampire instincts took over and soon Sirius was immersed in the feeling of warm blood sliding down his throat. His whole body felt comfortably electrified and, and good, so good.

So it's much better now.

You know, I hear these stories about mythical monster creatures called "plot bunnies," but never worried about them over much because I'd never been subject to such a thing.

Until last night.

And what's really odd is that this particular plot bunny wants me to write het. Furthermore, it wants me to write this in the Naruto fandom - which I'm not into as much as several other fandoms - and it wants for me to write about minor characters.

How strange is that.

Well, stranger things have happened, but still.

Also, I would like to consult the plot bunnies about their timing. I have a fic due to the hpvamp exchange in a week and a half, so this is most inconvenient.

I'm going to try starting the first chapter of this het fic and see if the bunnies will leave me alone long enough to write my slashy exchange fic before attacking me again.

I'm going to need to get a Hinata avatar.
